Q. What are your day to day job roles at Silk Group?
Making sure that all orders run smoothly, sending quotes to customers , purchasing goods from suppliers, invoicing and general day to day office duties. I also manage our ISO’s (9001 & 14001).

Q. What do you enjoy most about working for Silk Group?
Everyday is different at Silk, I can speak to a customer one minute and then be on the phone to a supplier the next. Each day you will be faced with different challenges, which can sometimes be a little stressful but it keeps you on your toes.

Q. What do you do in your spare time?
I have 2 little Lakeland terriers, Pip and Mo who love going out for walks. I also have 5 grandchildren with another due in early November so sleepovers at Nana’s are always on the cards.

Q. What is your favourite film?
Beaches……..I’ve watched it so many times

Q. What music do you listen to?
I love Motown and Soul, my all time favourite is the delicious Luther Vandross……yummy.

Did you know…
I’ve bungee jumped from 250 feet, I’ve parachuted 1500 feet from a plane and I’ve danced the night away (Strictly Learn To Dance) all in aid of local charities.

I would love to ice skate in Central Park, New York
